So I read a review on Bones today in the 'Herald Sun's Guide' (Melb.) and it went like so.|
Rivalling Close To Home as the most boring crime series on the box, Bones suffers from a distinct lack of chemistry between its two leads, David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel. Former Angel star Boreanaz has the acting talent of a piece of cardboard, and Deschanel's dramatic stares are ideal for a daytime soap. In this episode the duo are at odds over their investigation into the death of an American soldier.
Soooo does anyone get the impression that we're watching two entirely different shows? Also I couldn't find the reviewers name anywhere...Thoughts?
Yikes. I'll agree with Close To Home being crazy boring but after that, yeah we must be watching different shows.
Yeah, Bones isn't the greatest crime series to grace our TVs when compared to SVU or Homocide. But to say that David & Emily have no chemistry? I can't see it, I think they have great chemistry.
Definetely watching different shows - how on earth can they say Bones is boring? Let alone all the other derogetory comments they made - it's no wonder they didn't say who wrote it!
Although when I read this in the newspaper I was ready to send a nasty email to whoever wrote it, but then I read some of the other review this person wrote, and it seems like they don't watch any of the shows they review! Not only are they way off, they always get actors and characters names wrong, and even review the wrong episode - so it's no wonder.
Still, you gotta think how can they get it so wrong?

Someone has a big, big chip on their shoulder...
So, it's not that we're watching different shows, it's just some have an ax to grind, and will do so in spite of reality.
wtf! gah i love both shows...ok true Close to home might be a bit tedious..but i still love it ;)hahar
